Equinix Canada Ltd. — 1895 WILLIAMS PKY

The Equinix Canada LTD TR7 facility, located at 1895 Williams Parkway, Brampton, Ontario, operates as a data center serving as a digital infrastructure hub for interconnection services to financial institutions, enterprises, and network service providers. The facility operates 24/7, 365 days a year. The facility has nine diesel-fired emergency generators, each with a capacity of 2,000 kW. These generators are located on the south side of the building and are used for backup power during emergencies or for testing purposes. Testing is conducted individually, with six generators tested between 8 am and 6 pm, while the remaining three can be tested at any time. The primary contaminant discharged during generator testing is nitrogen oxides (NOx).
